Supplemental Terms — AI-Visibility Checker and Monitoring

Effective date: 13 August 2026

These supplemental terms apply to the AI-Visibility Checker (the free instant check) and the paid monitoring service. They are in addition to our Terms of Service, which continues to apply in full — including the disclaimer of warranties (section 16), the limitation of liability (section 17) and the indemnity (section 18). Where these supplemental terms conflict with the master Terms, these prevail for this Service only.

1. What this Service does

1.1 The Service requests pages from a website you specify and reports whether that site appears to block automated agents used by AI systems. It does this by:

(a) fetching and parsing the site's robots.txt file; (b) requesting the same page while identifying itself with different user-agent strings, including those used by AI crawlers, and comparing the responses; (c) checking for the presence of an llms.txt file; (d) reporting a per-agent verdict such as ALLOWED, BLOCKED BY ROBOTS, BLOCKED BY FIREWALL, or SUSPICIOUS, with its reasoning.

1.2 The paid monitoring service repeats these checks on a schedule and sends email alerts when a result changes.

2. What this Service is NOT

2.1 It is not a security assessment. It does not test for vulnerabilities, does not attempt to gain access to anything, does not probe for weaknesses, and tells you nothing about whether a site is secure. It requests publicly available pages exactly as an ordinary visitor or crawler would.

2.2 It does not measure whether AI systems mention, cite, recommend, rank or know about you. It reports only whether automated access appears to be blocked. Being reachable does not mean being used.

2.3 It does not guarantee that any AI system will or will not access, index, train on, or use your site. Those decisions belong to the operators of those systems and can change at any time.

2.4 It is not a monitoring or alerting service you should rely on for anything critical. It is not an uptime monitor, not a security monitor, and not an incident-detection system.

3. Your authorisation to check a website — read this

3.1 You must have the right to submit any website you check. By submitting a URL you represent and warrant that you own the website, operate it, or are otherwise authorised by its owner to have it checked and — for monitoring — to have it checked repeatedly on an automated schedule.

3.2 You must not use the Service to check a website you have no relationship with or authorisation for, and must not use it to check a site where the owner has asked you or us to stop.

3.3 You must not use the Service as a means of generating traffic to, testing, probing, overloading or attacking any website, whether or not you control it.

3.4 We may refuse, limit, throttle or stop checking any URL at any time, for any reason, including a request from the site's owner.

3.5 You are responsible for your use of the Service against any website, and you indemnify us for it under section 18 of the master Terms. If a site owner or authority complains about checks you initiated, that is a claim arising from your use of the Services.

3.6 We do not check private, internal or non-public addresses, and we block requests to private and reserved network ranges.

3.7 If a site owner asks us to stop: write to namankedia@geppetto.work. We will stop checking that site on request from its verified owner, without requiring a reason.

4. Accuracy — results about websites can be wrong

4.1 Verdicts are automated inferences from a small number of HTTP requests, and they can be wrong in both directions. The Service may report a site as blocked when it is not, and as reachable when it is not.

4.2 Common reasons a result may be wrong or change without anything actually changing: content delivery networks and firewalls behave differently by region, by network, by time, and by request pattern; rate limiting and bot mitigation may trigger on our requests specifically; sites serve different content to different visitors; caching; transient errors and timeouts; and robots.txt files that are ambiguous or that different crawlers interpret differently.

4.3 A result describes what happened when we made our requests, from where we made them, at that moment. It is not a general statement about the site, and it is not evidence of what any third party actually does.

4.4 You must not present a result as a finding of fact about a third party, and must not use it to accuse, disparage, or make a claim against any website operator or service provider. Section 1.4 of the Acceptable Use Policy applies.

4.5 We are not responsible for any decision you or anyone else makes on the basis of a result, including changes to a website's configuration.

5. Alerts and monitoring

5.1 We do not guarantee that any check will run, that any alert will be generated, or that any alert will be delivered. Checks may be missed, delayed, or fail. Emails may be delayed, filtered, blocked, or lost.

5.2 We make no commitment as to check frequency, timing, or alert latency. Any stated frequency is a target, not a commitment.

5.3 You must not rely on the absence of an alert as an indication that nothing has changed.

5.4 We may pause or stop monitoring a site that repeatedly fails, blocks us, or is unreachable, and may notify you when we do — but are not obliged to.

5.5 Historical results and reports are provided for convenience and may be incomplete. Export anything you need to keep.

6. Fair use

6.1 Paid plans cover a reasonable number of monitored sites and checks for ordinary business use. We may set and change limits, and may contact you or apply limits where use materially exceeds normal patterns or affects the Service for others.

6.2 Automated or programmatic access is permitted only as expressly agreed.

7. If we discontinue this Service

The commitments in our public duty-of-care policy apply, and are repeated here so they are contractual and not merely stated:

7.1 At least 30 days' written notice before a paid service ends.

7.2 Your choice between (a) service continuing to the end of the term you have paid for, or (b) an immediate pro-rata refund of the unused portion.

7.3 Export of your data before shutdown.

7.4 Prices never increase mid-term for an existing subscription.

7.5 Closing new signups is not the same as ending service, and we may do the former without the latter.

7.6 This section may be strengthened but will not be weakened for existing customers.

These are genuine commitments and we intend to honour them. They are the only service commitments in this document, and they are limited to what they say: notice, choice, export, and price stability. Nothing here is a commitment about availability, accuracy, or performance while the Service runs.
